Decent hotel but you only pay for the location. They mention Queen bed but they only put two double beds together which is not what I paid for and is counter productive. The elevator was not working the weekend i stayed so had to climb 4 long levels up and down with my luggage and they said no maintenance will come over the weekend. Wifi was poor in the rooms. The service was decent and you get some free water and beer in the mini bar. However for 110 Euros a night it’s totally not worth it and I would never stay again.

Very lovely hotel situated right next to the central train station of Hannover and thereby in the core of the city center. Rooms are spacious and upscale, modern and well-maintained. The bathroom is nice as well and comes with all necessary amenities. A big benefit: Unlike most German hotels, who either don't have AC or whose AC doesn't work when it is needed most during hot summer days, the air conditioning at the Central Hotel Kaiserhof is very effective and worked well every time we stayed there. The only downside might be a bit of noise pollution during some nights due to the hotel's proximity to the train station and the crowd it attracts on weekends or days of soccer games.
I had a great experience at the Central Hotel Kaisehof in Hannover, Germany. The service provided by the front desk staff was excellent. I apologize for not remembering the name of the lady who checked me in. She went above and beyond to cater to my needs.
The hotel's location on August-Platz is convenient as it provides easy access to the train station and Flixbus. I also had a fantastic dining experience at the hotel restaurant.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel, and I hope to visit again soon.
A historical building , well designed. Good breakfast and exellent location. Very close to all facilities , metro & train stations , markets , etc.
Cramped small single room, small bed felt like I was going to fall out when turning,also wooden side panel was hard when facing the wall.and bathroom, about 4 steps bed to bathroom,view of walls. Breakfast was plentiful, location ideal, staff great.
Why this is a four-star-hotel is beyond me. It’s quite old and pretty from the outside but on the inside it’s really plain old. Don’t get me wrong, the bed is comfortable, the shower is fine. However, the ventilation in the bathroom is super loud, the mobile air conditioning unit and the tv are both tiiiny. The rooms seem to heat up quite a bit in summer bc our room was still like a sauna when we arrived despite moderate temperatures and open windows (yes, the heating was turned off - we checked).
The location is obviously top notch, just two minutes away from the main station and reasonably quiet at night. The entire interior could use an update though.
Great Hotel in Hannover. The location is very convenient to the train station. The rooms are very clean and have the best air conditioning in Germany. The restaurant is also excellent. I had the best beef roulade I've eaten in Germany at this restaurant. If you are staying in Hannover, I highly recommend this hotel.
